It can be broadly classified under two categories --

Unconscious decision making are the routine decisions we make everyday which do not affect the world at large, such as deciding the colour of the tie you wear to work today. However, conscious decision making is a complicated process, which involves gathering information from various sources, analysing the same with a sharp eye and arriving at a decision after consulting authorities on the subject.

A conscious corporate decision would not only affect the stakeholders of the company, including the employees, but also change the industry dynamics at large. To arrive at the most appropriate decision, accurate inputs are required by expert associates or partners to influence the decision makers.
